Alliance Française of Richmond will be offering a French immersion summer day camp for children ages 4 - 9. The camp will run from Monday through Friday, June 10th through June 14th, from 9 am to 12:00 pm. The camp will take place at the Heartwood Grove School on Patterson Avenue in Richmond.
The camp will be an opportunity for your child to immerse themself in French and be around peers. The theme for the week will focus on the upcoming Olympics in France. Each day will include a variety of activities including a read-aloud, vocabulary building, songs, movement, crafts, outdoor time, and a snack. Registration is open to the children of Alliance Française of Richmond and Charlottesville members and students of Heartwood Grove School.
The camp will be taught by Alliance Française members who are French teachers in the local school districts. Some basic background in French, including understanding simple directions, is required.
