Information
Please join us on May 10th for an aperitif at the home of former Alliance Française of Richmond President Demas Boudreaux. Demas's home, the Weisiger-Carroll house, was built in 1765 and has served as a tavern, Sunday School, Civil War hospital, and private residence. The Weisiger-Carroll house has been in Demas's proud ownership for the past seven years.
For those of you lucky enough to have visited Demas's home before, you already know the treat in store; his residence is not only one of Richmond's most fascinating historic properties but is also believed to be one of the city's oldest homes still in existence. Stepping into this exquisite setting is like stepping into a time capsule, where the elegance of a bygone era meets the warm camaraderie of Alliance Française members. Be sure to mark your calendars and join us for what promises to be a memorable occasion.
Please bring a dish to share. The Alliance will provide the drinks.
Registration for this event closes on May 6th.
We look forward to seeing you on May 10th!
