Heartwood Grove School — New Middle School Language Program (2026/2027)

Heartwood Grove School, an independent primary and middle school in Richmond, specializes in multi‑language education. The Alliance Française of Richmond has long partnered with Heartwood Grove, using its facilities to teach French courses for both adults and children.

Beginning in the 2026/2027 school year, Heartwood Grove will launch its first middle school program for students with no prior language experience. Incoming middle schoolers will receive beginner‑level instruction through an immersive, multilingual curriculum that includes English, French, Spanish, and German. The program is designed to build strong foundational skills while fostering curiosity and confidence in language learning.

Open House — February 22nd, 2:00–3:30 PM 

Prospective students and their families are invited to an open house on February 14 from 2:00 to 3:30 PM to learn more about the program, meet faculty, and tour the campus.
