Intermediate French Conversation In Person Saturdays, 10:15–11:30 a.m., March 14–April 18
This six‑week course is designed for students who have completed at least one full year of French or who have recent experience using the language and are ready to strengthen their speaking and listening skills (A2/B1). Conducted entirely in French, the class provides a supportive, interactive environment where participants can build fluency, confidence, and spontaneity in conversation.
Through guided discussions, role‑plays, and authentic materials, students will expand their vocabulary, improve pronunciation, and refine their ability to express opinions and ideas. Conversation topics and activities will be shaped by the interests, goals, and real‑life needs of the group, making each session both practical and engaging.
The course will be led by Kitty Maynard. Kitty holds a PhD in French and has over 20 years of experience teaching French at the university level, as well as recent experience teaching with the Alliance Française. Specializing in early modern French literature, she has spent extended time in France and is passionate about making French accessible and engaging.
