Happy New Year members and friends!

As we wrap up the holiday season and enter the new year, we have a few updates for everyone.

First, we had a wonderful Fête de Noël in December. We thank the Thomsen’s and all those who participated in making this one of the year's major events and the closeout of our 2024 activities. Our class schedule for our winter 2025 session is finalized and we are offering four classes. Please see our Learn page for more details. Courses being conducted this winter include A1.1 (new beginners), A1.2, A2.4 and B2. There are still a few days to sign up if you are interested.  You can find more details here.

This Sunday, our French Family Group will meet on Sunday, January 4th, to celebrate the Fête des Rois. Members can register here.  Thank you Annie for hosting this event.

Later in month, on January, we will be holding a discussion on the French book Petit pays by Gaël Faye. This book, set in Burundi in 1992, was nominated for numerous literary awards. The event is in-person, in French, and you can register here.

On January 24th our member Eliot Norman and his friends will be conducting a benefit concert and cabaret for the First Unitarian Church here in Richmond. For those of you who attended the Fête de Noël, you would have seen Eliot graciously playing the piano there. You can find the details here on our photo pages.

And finally, we would like to thank everyone who helped support Alliance Française of Richmond in 2024. Our Alliance is growing and healthy as we enter this new year, thanks to your support. Merci beaucoup!
