Bonjour chers membres et amis – warm summer greetings from your Alliance!

We’re thrilled to share that our third annual French Summer Camp for children was a resounding success! Over two fun-filled weeks, 34 young campers immersed themselves in French language and culture through games, songs, crafts, and more. Huge thanks to our incredible team—Kaitlyn Pullin, Florence DiFiglio, Jamie Wulfekuhle—and the many volunteers who brought this experience to life. We’re also deeply grateful to Heartwood Grove School for generously hosting us once again.

Summer slowdown? Not this year! While July and August usually brings a bit of a pause, this summer we’re keeping the momentum going with three online French classes currently underway. There may still be time to join in—whether you're brushing up or diving in for the first time, we’d love to have you. [Click here for class information]

• Bastille Day Celebration: Saturday, July 12 – Join us at the Alliance for our traditional Bastille Day soirée, complete with dinner, drinks, games, and music. Special treat: our very own Eliot Norman will be at the piano—perhaps even leading a sing-along or two! [Event details here.]

Club de lecture – September Sneak Peek - In September, our book club will dive into The Bonjour Effect by Julie Barlow & Jean-Benoît Nadeau—a witty and insightful look at the nuances of French communication and culture.
